Pinkladyappleuk Apple Slices

Ingredients

  • 500ml soya or almond milk
  • 85g porridge oats
  • 2 pink lady apples, 1 for the porridge and 1 for the topping
  • 1 tbsp mixed seeds
  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar (optional)
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ginger
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • pinch cloves
  • apple slices, seeds, maple syrup and cashew nut butter to garnish.
  • bring to a simmer and cook over a medium heat for 5-7 minutes until the porridge is thick and creamy.
  • pour into bowls and top with sliced apple, sprinkle with seeds and drizzle with a little maple syrup and cashew nut butter.

Preparation

  1. Core and chop the apple and add to a pan along with the rest of the ingredients

  2. Bring to a simmer and cook over a medium heat for 5-7 minutes until the porridge is thick and creamy

  3. Pour into bowls and top with sliced apple, sprinkle with seeds and drizzle with a little maple syrup and cashew nut butter
