Homemade Burger Buns

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups warm milk
  • 0.5 cup warm water
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1.5 tablespoons honey or 1.5 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 packet instant yeast
  • 2 eggs
  • 5-6 cups flour (add gradually)

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients except flour thoroughly

  2. Gradually add flour and knead

  3. Let rise covered for 1-2 hours

  4. Shape into buns and let rise again for 30 minutes

  5. Brush with a mixture of 1 egg yolk and 3 tablespoons milk, then sprinkle sesame seeds

  6. Bake at 180°C in an oven without fan until done

  7. Cover and let cool after removing from oven
