Vegan Quiche with Caramelized Onions and Sausage

Ingredients

  • 1 vegan pie crust
  • 1 bottle Just Egg
  • 1 package Treeline Herb-Garlic Cashew Cheese
  • 1/4 cup Follow Your Heart Parmesan
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • Splash of oat milk
  • Ground black pepper
  • Few pinches Indian black salt
  • 1.5 cups Italian sausage crumble
  • 1 cup packed arugula micro-greens
  • 1 red onion

Preparation

  1. Caramelize the red onion in a pan with garlic oil until soft and browned.

  2. In a bowl, mix together 1 bottle of Just Egg, 1 package of Herb-Garlic Cashew Cheese, 1/4 cup Parmesan, 3 minced garlic cloves, a splash of oat milk, ground black pepper, and a few pinches of Indian black salt; whisk until well combined.

  3. Add 1.5 cups of Italian sausage crumble, 1 cup packed arugula micro-greens, and the caramelized red onion to the mixture.

  4. Pour the mixture into a vegan pie crust and distribute evenly.

  5. Bake at 375°F for approximately one hour or until the center is set and the crust is browned.
