Vegan Quiche with Caramelized Onions and Sausage
Ingredients
- 1 vegan pie crust
- 1 bottle Just Egg
- 1 package Treeline Herb-Garlic Cashew Cheese
- 1/4 cup Follow Your Heart Parmesan
- 3 garlic cloves
- Splash of oat milk
- Ground black pepper
- Few pinches Indian black salt
- 1.5 cups Italian sausage crumble
- 1 cup packed arugula micro-greens
- 1 red onion
Preparation
Caramelize the red onion in a pan with garlic oil until soft and browned.
In a bowl, mix together 1 bottle of Just Egg, 1 package of Herb-Garlic Cashew Cheese, 1/4 cup Parmesan, 3 minced garlic cloves, a splash of oat milk, ground black pepper, and a few pinches of Indian black salt; whisk until well combined.
Add 1.5 cups of Italian sausage crumble, 1 cup packed arugula micro-greens, and the caramelized red onion to the mixture.
Pour the mixture into a vegan pie crust and distribute evenly.
Bake at 375°F for approximately one hour or until the center is set and the crust is browned.
