Best and Cutest Homemade Wholemeal Vegan Bagels
Ingredients
- 1 cup wholemeal flour
- 3/4 cup vegan Greek yoghurt (like coconut or plain Greek yoghurt if not vegan)
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Preparation
Heat the oven to 218°C
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well
When the dough binds into a ball, transfer to a floured worktop and knead well for about 12-15 times
Cut the dough into 4 equal parts
Roll out each part and fold the ends to form a round bagel shape
Slightly flatten and sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds
Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until brown
