Best and Cutest Homemade Wholemeal Vegan Bagels

Ingredients

  • 1 cup wholemeal flour
  • 3/4 cup vegan Greek yoghurt (like coconut or plain Greek yoghurt if not vegan)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Preparation

  1. Heat the oven to 218°C

  2. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and mix well

  3. When the dough binds into a ball, transfer to a floured worktop and knead well for about 12-15 times

  4. Cut the dough into 4 equal parts

  5. Roll out each part and fold the ends to form a round bagel shape

  6. Slightly flatten and sprinkle with poppy seeds or sesame seeds

  7. Bake in the oven for 20 minutes or until brown
