Double Chocolate Cake Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 50g flour
  • 15g chocolate protein powder
  • half a banana
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • flax egg
  • almond milk

Topping

  • soy yogurt
  • protein powder
  • cacao nibs
  • choc shot

Preparation

  1. Make the flax egg by mixing 1 tablespoon ground flaxseed with 3 tablespoons water and let it sit for 5 minutes to thicken

  2. In a bowl, combine the dry ingredients: 50g flour, 15g chocolate protein powder, and 1 tsp baking powder

  3. Mash half a banana and mix it with almond milk and the flax egg

  4. Combine the wet and dry mixtures to form a batter

  5. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and cook the pancakes until bubbles form and edges are set, then flip and cook until golden brown

  6. Mix soy yogurt with additional protein powder, then stir in cacao nibs and choc shot to create the topping

  7. Serve the pancakes topped with the prepared mixture
