Easy Vegan Portobello Mushroom Burgers
Ingredients
- 2 portobello mushroom caps
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp coconut aminos
- 1 tsp garlic
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp maple syrup (optional)
Preparation
In a small bowl, combine all of the above ingredients besides the mushrooms and mix everything together.
Put the mushrooms in a shallow bowl or a ziplock bag.
Add the mixture and make sure the whole mushroom is coated.
Marinate for 30 minutes.
Add olive oil to a grill skillet or regular skillet and cook 5 minutes on each side over medium heat.
Notes
Serve with baked sweet potato and regular potato fries coated with olive oil, salt, and pepper.
Best eaten fresh and not saved.
