Easy Birthday Cake with Few Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • 1.5 cups sugar
  • 2.5 cups sifted wheat flour
  • 250 ml water at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

Frosting

  • 500 ml whipped cream
  • Milk powder (to taste)

Preparation

  1. Beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form, then add the yolks and sugar and beat until homogeneous and fluffy.

  2. Remove from the mixer and gradually add the flour and water, mixing gently from bottom to top.

  3. Add the baking powder and mix until incorporated.

  4. Pour the batter into a pan lined with parchment paper at the bottom; do not grease the pan.

  5. Bake in a preheated medium oven. Do not open the oven before 30 minutes; use a toothpick to check if it is done.

Frosting

  1. Beat 500 ml of whipped cream until stiff, then add milk powder and beat again until combined.

Assembly

  1. Moisten the baked cake with milk.

  2. Spread the frosting over the cake.
