Easy Steamed Cream Puffs

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 50 grams butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Preparation

  1. Place 1 cup of water, 3 tablespoons of sugar, and 50 grams of butter in a pot over heat until the butter melts and the water begins to boil

  2. Add 1 cup of flour and mix until the dough comes together quickly

  3. Beat the dough well for 5 minutes after it forms

  4. Transfer the dough to another container and allow it to cool

  5. Add 3 eggs one by one, beating well after each addition

  6. Add 1 teaspoon of baking powder and mix thoroughly

  7. Pipe the mixture into shapes on a parchment-lined tray

  8. Grease your finger and gently press down the tips of the puffs

  9. In a pot with a heat diffuser, place a metal ring or container, add a steamer cloth or similar setup, and steam the puffs for 1.5 to 2 hours until golden brown

  10. Once golden, remove and let cool, then cut open and fill with whipped cream
