Easy Homemade Vanilla Bundt Cake
Ingredients
- 4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 cups fine-grained sugar
- 2 cups cubed butter
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 6 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Preparation
All ingredients should be at room temperature.
Set the middle rack in the oven and preheat to 170°C.
Prepare a 10-inch bundt pan by greasing with butter and dusting with flour. Set aside.
In the mixer bowl, place the ingredients in this order: flour, baking powder, sugar, butter (cut into small cubes), milk, eggs, and vanilla.
Attach the mixing beater and mix for one minute to combine ingredients.
Use a plastic spoon to scrape down the sides of the bowl.
Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.
Place the pan in the oven and bake for 65-70 minutes until the cake is done and browned. Test doneness with a thin wooden stick; if it comes out clean, the cake is done.
Remove the pan from the oven, invert the cake onto a serving plate. Let it cool then serve.
