Easy Homemade Vanilla Bundt Cake

Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3 cups fine-grained sugar
  • 2 cups cubed butter
  • 1 1/3 cups milk
  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. All ingredients should be at room temperature.

  2. Set the middle rack in the oven and preheat to 170°C.

  3. Prepare a 10-inch bundt pan by greasing with butter and dusting with flour. Set aside.

  4. In the mixer bowl, place the ingredients in this order: flour, baking powder, sugar, butter (cut into small cubes), milk, eggs, and vanilla.

  5. Attach the mixing beater and mix for one minute to combine ingredients.

  6. Use a plastic spoon to scrape down the sides of the bowl.

  7. Beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.

  8. Pour the mixture into the prepared pan.

  9. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 65-70 minutes until the cake is done and browned. Test doneness with a thin wooden stick; if it comes out clean, the cake is done.

  10. Remove the pan from the oven, invert the cake onto a serving plate. Let it cool then serve.
