Brazilian Chicken and Cheese Savory Pastries
Ingredients
Dough
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/2 cup warm water
- 1 tablespoon powdered milk
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5 grams dry yeast or 15 grams fresh yeast
- 500 grams all-purpose flour
Filling
- cooked chicken
- cheese
Preparation
Mix all ingredients in a bowl, except the flour, and mix well
Add the flour gradually until it reaches kneading point (firm dough)
Start kneading, transfer the dough to a work surface and knead until it becomes soft, elastic and light
Let the dough rise until doubled in size
Place the filling and let it rise again in a greased and floured pan
Bake in a preheated oven at 200Β° until golden
