Classic Simple Homemade Bread
Ingredients
- 1 cup warm milk
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- a pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup oil
- 5g dry yeast
- 500g all-purpose flour
Syrup
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
Preparation
Blend the milk, eggs, sugar, salt, oil, and yeast in a blender until smooth
Place the blended liquid in a bowl and gradually add the flour, kneading to form a smooth dough
Grease a baking pan with butter and sprinkle with flour
Form the dough into small balls and place in the prepared pan
Cover and let rest for 3 hours or until doubled in volume
Preheat the oven
Bake until golden brown
While the bread is baking, prepare the syrup by combining sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves
Brush the warm bread with the syrup immediately after removing from the oven
