Classic Simple Homemade Bread

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 5g dry yeast
  • 500g all-purpose flour

Syrup

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water

Preparation

  1. Blend the milk, eggs, sugar, salt, oil, and yeast in a blender until smooth

  2. Place the blended liquid in a bowl and gradually add the flour, kneading to form a smooth dough

  3. Grease a baking pan with butter and sprinkle with flour

  4. Form the dough into small balls and place in the prepared pan

  5. Cover and let rest for 3 hours or until doubled in volume

  6. Preheat the oven

  7. Bake until golden brown

  8. While the bread is baking, prepare the syrup by combining sugar and water in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves

  9. Brush the warm bread with the syrup immediately after removing from the oven
