Spicy Sweet Soy Sauce Chicken
Ingredients
- 12 pieces chicken
- 2 tablespoons coriander seeds
- 1.5 bulbs garlic
- Turmeric
- Salt
- Curry leaves
- Bay leaves
- 2 tablespoons sweet soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 15 bird's eye chilies
- 2 red chilies
- 1 shallot
- 1 onion
- A little ginger
Preparation
Blend the coriander seeds and half of the garlic.
Marinate the chicken with the blended mixture, turmeric, and salt for 30 minutes, then fry until crispy and cooked. Set aside.
Pound the bird's eye chilies, red chilies, ginger, onion, shallot, and the remaining garlic. Use a chopper if desired for speed.
Sauté the pounded ingredients in the remaining oil from frying the chicken until fragrant and oil separates.
Add the sweet soy sauce and oyster sauce, then cook for 3 to 4 minutes.
Optionally add seasoning, stir in the chicken until well combined, and turn off the heat.
Tips
You can add seasoning to taste if desired.
