Stir-Fried Chicken with Spiced Greens
Ingredients
- Chicken breasts
- 4 cups chopped spinach or bok choy
- 4 chopped green onions
- 1 tsp grated fresh ginger
- 1 tsp grated turmeric
- 1 Tbsp sesame seeds
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
Preparation
Season chicken breasts with your favorite garlic seasoning and pan fry in sesame oil.
Add grated garlic, turmeric, and ginger to 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in the pan and let it sit for five minutes to allow the oil to absorb the flavors.
Chop up the greens.
Turn on the heat and sauté the garlic, ginger, and turmeric on low heat for 1 minute.
Add the chopped greens and stir constantly for 2-3 minutes.
Finally, add the sugar and soy sauce.
