Baked Sardine Vegetable Pie with Mozzarella
Ingredients
Filling
- 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
- 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
- 3 tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 can corn
- Olives to taste
- 1 small can tomato paste
- 3 small cans sardines, with oil
- Salt to taste
Dough
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 3 cups self-rising flour
- 5 tablespoons oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
Preparation
Mix all filling ingredients in a bowl.
Grease and flour a medium baking pan.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Blend the liquid dough ingredients and salt in a blender, then gradually add flour and mix until smooth.
Pour half of the dough into the prepared pan.
Spread the filling evenly over the dough.
Pour the remaining dough over the filling.
Top with mozzarella cheese.
Bake for approximately 30 minutes.
