Easy Portuguese Savory Cheese Tart
Ingredients
Crust
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup (240ml) milk
- 1/2 cup (120ml) oil
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped, optional
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Filling
- Mozzarella cheese
- Ham
- Tomato, seeded and diced
- Onion, finely chopped
- Hard-boiled egg, chopped
- Parsley, chopped
- Green onions, chopped
- Salt to taste
Preparation
Blend eggs, milk, oil, and onion in a blender for 1 minute
Add flour and oregano; blend until combined
Stir in baking powder
Mix all filling ingredients and set aside
Baking
Pour half the batter into a greased medium baking pan
Spread the filling evenly over the batter
Pour the remaining batter on top
Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C (350Β°F) for about 35 minutes
