Cajun Shrimp Alfredo Pasta
Ingredients
- 6-10 shrimps (depending on size)
- 16 oz heavy cream or whipping cream
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tbsp Cajun spice/seasoning
- fresh parsley
Preparation
Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
In a skillet, heat oil or butter over medium heat, add shrimp and Cajun seasoning, and cook until shrimp are pink and opaque.
In a separate saucepan, heat heavy cream over medium heat, add parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper, and stir until cheese melts and sauce is smooth.
Combine the cooked pasta, shrimp, and sauce in a large bowl or pan.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
