Creamy Pasta with Basil Sauce

Ingredients

  • 250 grams pasta
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley

Basil sauce

  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 4 tablespoons basil sauce
  • 3/4 cup finely grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper

Preparation

  1. Boil the pasta according to the package instructions, drain it, and set it aside.

  2. Spread the sauce over the pasta, then sprinkle with parsley and serve.

Sauce

  1. In a medium-sized pot, heat the butter and flour until the mixture turns golden.

  2. Add the milk, cream, and basil sauce.

  3. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring occasionally.

  4. Add the cheese, salt, and pepper.
