Trilece Milk Cake

Ingredients

Cake

  • 5 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • A little less than half a tea cup of hot water
  • 1.5 cups flour
  • 1 packet vanilla
  • 1 packet baking powder

Soaking syrup

  • 5 cups milk
  • 5 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 packet liquid cream
  • 100 grams white chocolate

Filling

  • 2 packets whipped cream powder
  • 1 cup cold milk

Caramel sauce

  • For homemade: 1 cup sugar
  • For homemade: 1 tablespoon butter
  • For homemade: 1 packet liquid cream

Preparation

  1. First, prepare the syrup: Place the milk in a pot, add the cream when it starts to warm up, and stir intermittently. When steam begins to rise before boiling, turn off the heat, add the white chocolate, stir until melted, and let it cool.

  2. To make the cake: Separate the egg whites and yolks. Beat the egg whites with half a cup of sugar until stiff and white. Beat the egg yolks with the remaining half cup of sugar until thick. Add hot water and beat. Then add flour, baking powder, and vanilla, and beat. Fold in the egg whites in two parts using a spatula, mixing gently without deflating. Line a baking tray with parchment paper, spread the batter evenly, and bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees Celsius without fan for 35 minutes. Let the cake cool.

  3. Once both the cake and syrup are cool, pour the syrup over the cake to soak it thoroughly.

  4. Prepare the filling: Whip the whipped cream powder with cold milk until fluffy, then spread it over the soaked cake.

  5. Finally, drizzle the caramel sauce over the top.

  1. Ready-made caramel sauce can be used, or make your own with the provided ingredients.
