Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Bars

Ingredients

Wet

  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbs milk
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs

Dry

  • 1 3/4 cups flour (gluten-free, measure for measure)
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 1/2 cups old fashioned or quick oats
  • 2 cups chocolate (or any chocolate)

Preparation

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.

  2. Beat butter and sugar, then combine with the rest of the wet ingredients.

  3. Mix in all dry ingredients, adding oats and chocolate last.

  4. Press dough into a 13x9 inch pan and bake for 20 minutes.
