Chocolate Protein Hazelnut Oat Cookies
Ingredients
- 75g oats
- 30g freesoulsistas chocolate protein powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 2 tsp cinnamon
- 40g date syrup
- 45g coconut oil
- 5g stevia
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
Toppings
- 5g freesoulsistas chocolate protein powder
- 15g date syrup
- 1 tbsp stevia
- 10g hazelnuts
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 160°C.
Blend the oats until fine.
Mix the oats with the protein powder, baking powder, and spices in a mixing bowl.
Add the melted coconut oil, syrup, stevia, and chia egg to the mixture and stir together.
Cover the bowl and place it in the fridge for ten minutes.
Form the mixture into 6 equal balls and mold them into cookie shapes.
Place the cookies on baking parchment on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 12-15 minutes.
Mix the stevia, date syrup, and chocolate protein in a small bowl and crush the hazelnuts with the back of a spoon.
Cool the cookies on a cooling rack, then drizzle the syrup mixture over them and add the crushed hazelnuts on top.
