Crispy Breaded Fried Shrimp
Ingredients
- 12 shrimp
- 7 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Bread crumbs as needed
- Water as needed
- Oil for frying
Seasonings
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
- Salt to taste
- Seasoning to taste
Preparation
Peel the head and shell of the shrimp, leaving the tail intact. Wash them clean, then rub with a little salt.
To keep the shrimp straight and long, make small cuts on the underside (about 3-4 parts), arrange in a container and straighten. Repeat for all shrimp.
Prepare three bowls: first with 2 tablespoons flour, second with 5 tablespoons flour, add the seasonings and water as needed to make a batter that is not too thin or thick, and third with bread crumbs as needed.
Take each shrimp, roll in the first bowl, then dip into the second bowl, after that roll in the third bowl. Repeat for all shrimp.
Fry until golden brown. Serve.
Tips
For best results, ensure the batter is consistent to achieve a crispy coating.
