Chocolate Marmite Breakfast Baked Oat Cake

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup oats, blended to a flour
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed
  • 1.5 tbsp cocoa powder
  • unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1/2 to 3/4 tsp marmite
  • maple syrup to taste
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • vegan chocolate chips

Preparation

  1. Mix the ingredients together except for the baking powder and chocolate chips, add a dash of milk to form a thick batter, and let it set for a few minutes.

  2. If needed, add more milk, then whisk in the baking powder and some chocolate chips.

  3. Pour into a ramekin and top with more chocolate chips.

  4. Bake for 15 minutes for a runny center or 25 minutes for a cake-like texture throughout.

  5. Remove from the oven and enjoy hot.
