Maple and Gingerbread Baked Oats
Ingredients
- 50g oats
- 1 small very overripe banana
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 150ml boiling water
Spiced yoghurt
- pinch of ground ginger
- pinch of ground cinnamon
- few tablespoons of vanilla yoghurt
Preparation
Put oats into a bowl and pour over hot water. Leave to soak for 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, mash the banana and add it to the oats.
Add everything else into the bowl and mix until smooth.
Line a baking tin with greaseproof paper.
Bake in the oven at 180 degrees Celsius or 350 degrees Fahrenheit or gas mark 4 for 25 minutes.
Yoghurt mixing
Mix together a pinch of ground ginger, a pinch of ground cinnamon, and a few tablespoons of vanilla yoghurt.
