Easy Chocolate Cremeux Dessert
Ingredients
- 1 cup chopped chocolate
- a pinch of cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup whole milk
Garnish
- whipped cream
- fresh fruits
Preparation
Prepare small transparent glasses
In a deep bowl, place the chocolate and cinnamon and set aside
In a deep bowl, place the eggs, sugar, and vanilla; whisk with a hand whisk until light-colored and sugar dissolves, then set aside
In a saucepan, place the cream and milk; heat over medium heat, stirring gently until very hot but not boiling
Pour the hot mixture over the egg mixture while whisking continuously to combine
Return the mixture to the saucepan; heat over low heat, stirring gently until very hot but not boiling
Pour the mixture over the chocolate and stir continuously without whisking using a hand whisk until chocolate melts and mixture is smooth and creamy
Distribute the cremeux into the glasses
Refrigerate for 2 hours
Garnish with whipped cream and fresh fruits and serve
