Healthy Chocolate Chip Oat Pancakes with Protein Cream Cheese

Ingredients

  • 1 medium banana (approx 100g)
  • 100g @quakeroatsuk Jumbo Oats
  • 185ml @alpro Unsweetened Almond Milk
  • 1tsp Baking Powder
  • 1tsp @organicburst Maca Powder (optional)
  • 1tbsp Dark Chocolate Chips

Frosting

  • 35g @awesomesupps Vegan Vanilla Protein Powder
  • 30g @nushfoods Almond Milk Cream Ch.ese
  • 1tbsp @alpro Unsweetened Almond Milk (you may need more depending on the protein powder you use)

Toppings

  • @sweetfreedomuk Liquid Choc Shot
  • Strawberries
  • Dark Chocolate Chips

Preparation

  1. Using a blender, grind the oats into a flour.

  2. Add the banana, milk, maca powder and baking powder and blend until smooth.

  3. Stir in the chocolate chips once the mixture has been blended.

  4. Ladle about 1/4 cup of the mixture onto a non-stick pan and cook for approximately 2 minutes on each side.

  5. Meanwhile make the cream cheese frosting by blending all the ingredients for the frosting together until thoroughly mixed and smooth.

  6. Top the pancakes with the frosting, Liquid Choc Shot, strawberries and a sprinkle of dark chocolate chips.
