Semolina Aish El Saraya Dessert
Ingredients
Base layer
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup semolina
- 1 tablespoon rose water or orange blossom water
Milk layer
- 1 liter liquid milk
- sugar to taste
- powdered milk
- 8 tablespoons starch
- 1 can cream
- rose water or orange blossom water
Topping layer
- cream or clotted cream
Garnishes
- cotton candy
- pistachio nuts
Preparation
Caramelize the sugar with the water to create a syrup.
Prepare the milk layer by combining milk, sugar, powdered milk, starch, and rose water, then cook while stirring until thickened.
Assemble the dessert by layering the caramel base, followed by the milk mixture, and top with cream.
Chill until set, then garnish with cotton candy and pistachios before serving.
