Steamed Chocolate Cake with Ganache

Ingredients

Cake

  • 3 grade A eggs
  • 1.5 cups sifted wheat flour
  • 1 cup condensed milk
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup liquid milk
  • 1 cup cooking oil
  • 0.5 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • vanilla essence

Ganache

  • 500 grams Beryls dark chocolate
  • 1 cup whipping cream

Preparation

  1. Mix all cake ingredients together.

  2. Steam the cake mixture for 20 minutes.

  3. Melt the dark chocolate and whipping cream using a double boiler method.

  4. Chill the ganache in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

  5. Remove the ganache from the refrigerator and let it sit for 30 minutes.

  6. Pour the ganache over the cooled cake.

  7. Refrigerate the assembled cake and serve cold.
