Steamed Banana Cake

Ingredients

Wet

  • 1 cup mashed banana
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup corn oil or cooking oil or melted margarine
  • 3 grade A eggs
  • 3 tablespoons condensed milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

Dry

  • 2 cups wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Preparation

  1. Beat sugar, eggs, vanilla essence, condensed milk, and oil for about 3-5 minutes until white.

  2. Add the mashed banana and stir until well combined.

  3. Add the sifted flour little by little and stir well with a spatula until fully incorporated.

  4. Pour the batter into a container and steam until cooked.
