Soft and Fragrant Strawberry Muffins
Ingredients
- 150 g all-purpose flour
- 125 g granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 8 g baking powder
- 1 egg
- 110 ml milk at room temperature
- 25 g soft butter
- 8 strawberries
- 1 pinch of salt
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 190°C and line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners.
In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
In another bowl, beat the egg and stir in the milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Gently fold in the chopped strawberries.
Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups and bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the muffins to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
