Grilled Peanut Butter Chocolate Banana Sandwich

Ingredients

  • 4 slices of sourdough or bread of choice
  • 2 small bananas
  • Crunchy peanut butter or other nut/seed butter
  • A handful of dark dairy-free chocolate chips
  • Optional: a little vegan butter

Preparation

  1. Cut banana into diagonal slices.

  2. If using, spread a very thin layer of vegan butter on one side of the bread.

  3. Spread all other sides with peanut butter, lay banana slices on one side, sprinkle some chocolate chips over them, and place the second slice of bread on top.

  4. Grill them for a few minutes each side in a non-stick skillet on low-medium heat, until browned and crispy.
