Hoisin Seitan Stir-Fry with Noodles

Ingredients

Sauce

  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 3 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon avocado oil
  • Water to make 1/2 cup total

Main

  • Premade seitan chunks
  • Broccoli and other vegetables
  • Ramen noodles

Preparation

  1. Mix all sauce ingredients in a bowl to make the sauce

  2. Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions

  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little oil

  4. Add seitan chunks and cook until browned.

  5. Pour on half the sauce and cook until it turns to a glaze.

  6. Add the vegetables and stir-fry until softened, particularly the broccoli.

  7. Serve the stir-fried mixture over the cooked noodles and drizzle with the remaining sauce.
