Manlama Turkish Meat Pie
Ingredients
- 4 sheets phyllo dough
- 750 grams ground meat
- 2-3 tablespoons butter
- 1 large onion
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon mixed spices
- Half bunch parsley
Preparation
Sauté the onion in butter until soft.
Add the ground meat and cook until browned.
Stir in the tomato paste, salt, pepper, and mixed spices; cook for a few minutes.
Remove from heat and mix in the chopped parsley.
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).
Brush a baking dish with butter.
Layer the phyllo sheets, brushing each with butter, and add the meat filling between layers.
Bake until golden brown, about 30-40 minutes.
