Spicy Indonesian Bacem Giblets

Ingredients

  • Giblets
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar to taste
  • Seasoning to taste
  • Sweet soy sauce to taste
  • 3 bay leaves
  • Water as needed

Spice paste

  • 13 bird's eye chilies
  • 7 shallots
  • 5 garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 2 candlenuts
  • A little ginger

Preparation

  1. Boil the giblets briefly and wash them clean.

  2. Prepare a pot and add water, all spices, and ingredients.

  3. Cook until the giblets are done and the sauce has reduced.

  4. Adjust the seasoning to taste and serve.
