Healthy Protein-Rich Morning Bowl
Ingredients
- a couple of plums
- 1/3 cup oats
- 100ml almond milk
- 1 cup water
- ground cinnamon
- coconut sugar
- vanilla extract
- cherry jam
- flaked almonds
- cherry bakewell almond butter
- dark chocolate buttons
Preparation
Roast a couple of plums (halved and de-stoned) in the oven for 20 minutes at 170°C; adjust time based on your oven.
While the plums are cooking, soak 1/3 cup of oats in 100ml almond milk for about 10 minutes.
Once the milk is absorbed, add a further cup of water and cook the oats slowly on low heat.
When the oats are done, stir in ground cinnamon, a little coconut sugar, and a dash of vanilla extract.
Top the oats with the roasted plums, cherry jam, flaked almonds, and oodles of cherry bakewell almond butter.
Add a few dark chocolate buttons if desired.
