Nutty Chocolate Chia Oat Breakfast Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 100ml almond milk
- vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup oats
- handful of sultanas
- additional 100ml almond milk
- 1 cup water
- cacao powder
- ground cinnamon
- pinch of sea salt
- chopped almonds
- chopped pecans
- banana
- peanut butter
- choc shot
Preparation
Stir 1 tablespoon of chia seeds into 100ml of almond milk. Add a little vanilla extract and stir well. Leave overnight in the fridge.
In the morning, soak 1/3 cup oats and a handful of sultanas in 100ml almond milk. When the milk is absorbed, add a further cup of water and cook on a slow heat, stirring occasionally.
When the oats are almost done, stir in cacao powder, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt to bring out the flavors.
Top the oats with the chia pudding, chopped almonds and pecans, banana, and a drizzle of peanut butter and choc shot.
