Nutty Chocolate Chia Oat Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 100ml almond milk
  • vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup oats
  • handful of sultanas
  • additional 100ml almond milk
  • 1 cup water
  • cacao powder
  • ground cinnamon
  • pinch of sea salt
  • chopped almonds
  • chopped pecans
  • banana
  • peanut butter
  • choc shot

Preparation

  1. Stir 1 tablespoon of chia seeds into 100ml of almond milk. Add a little vanilla extract and stir well. Leave overnight in the fridge.

  2. In the morning, soak 1/3 cup oats and a handful of sultanas in 100ml almond milk. When the milk is absorbed, add a further cup of water and cook on a slow heat, stirring occasionally.

  3. When the oats are almost done, stir in cacao powder, ground cinnamon, and a pinch of sea salt to bring out the flavors.

  4. Top the oats with the chia pudding, chopped almonds and pecans, banana, and a drizzle of peanut butter and choc shot.

  5. Enjoy the dish!
