Comforting Vegan Crepes with Cinnamon Apples
Ingredients
- 1 dl (1/3 cup) plant-based milk (oat used)
- 1 tbsp oil
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
- 2 dl (3/4 cup) flour
- 1.5 dl (1/2 cup) sparkling water
Filling
- Plant-based whipping cream
Cinnamon apples
- 2 apples
- 1 tsp vegan butter
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp water
- pinch of salt
Preparation
Mix together flour, maple syrup, cinnamon, salt, oil and milk, then mix in the sparkling water. Let it set for about 5 minutes.
Heat up your pan and lightly coat with oil. Cook the crepes one at a time.
For the apples: Chop apples with peels into small pieces. Cook in a hot pan with vegan butter for a second, then add cinnamon, sugar, water, and salt. Cook on low heat until apples are soft.
