Simple Cherry Tomato and Basil Pasta
Ingredients
- 500g cherry tomatoes
- Handful of fresh basil
- 250g pasta
Preparation
Wash the tomatoes and place them in a pan with salt and 200ml of water.
Cover with a lid and cook on medium-low heat for 25 minutes.
Start cooking the pasta according to package instructions.
Remove the lid from the tomato pan and let the sauce thicken while the pasta cooks.
Stir the cooked pasta into the sauce along with some pasta water to make it silky.
Finish with fresh basil and plenty of cracked black pepper.

This recipe is low maintenance and perfect for entertaining.
Use good quality cherry tomatoes for their natural sweetness.
