Apple Pie Baked Oats
Ingredients
- 50g oats
- 50g apple, chopped, peeled and cooked
- 50g any yoghurt
- 1 tablespoon sultanas
- 1 tablespoon sweetener
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 3 tablespoons hot water
Preparation
Preheat oven to 200C, 400F, or Gas Mark 6.
Put oats and hot water into a bowl, stir and leave to thicken for a couple of minutes.
Stir in all of the other ingredients until combined, ensuring the apple is cooked first and soft.
Pour mixture into a shallow oven-proof dish lined with baking parchment and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
Tips
Enjoy for breakfast, snack, or dessert with additional yoghurt or maple syrup if desired.
When doubling the quantity for meal prep, leave in the oven a bit longer and heat in the microwave for a minute if wanted warm for later use.
