Layered Milk and Cocoa Pudding
Ingredients
Milk pudding
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons corn oil
Cocoa pudding
- 2 cups milk
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
Garnish
- Coconut
Preparation
Bring a medium-sized dish.
For the milk pudding, in a pot, place milk, cornstarch, flour, and sugar.
Using a hand whisk, stir to dissolve the cornstarch and flour.
Place the pot on medium heat and, using a wooden spoon, continue stirring until the mixture thickens.
For the cocoa pudding, in another pot, place milk, cornstarch, flour, sugar, and unsweetened cocoa powder.
Using a hand whisk, stir to dissolve the cornstarch and flour.
Place the pot on medium heat and, using a wooden spoon, continue stirring until the mixture thickens.
Layer the puddings in the dish by adding some milk pudding followed by some cocoa pudding, and repeat.
Refrigerate the pudding for several hours to set.
Garnish with coconut before serving.
