Spicy Crispy Tofu Stir-Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 block of tofu
  • 1 tablespoon starch
  • 3/4 tablespoon chili powder
  • approximately 200g green beans
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1 small piece of ginger
  • rice

Sauce

  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon starch
  • Pinch of sugar (approximately 1/2 teaspoon)
  • 1 cup water
  • Splash of sesame oil

Preparation

  1. Cook the rice.

  2. Break the tofu into large pieces.

  3. Add the starch and chili powder and mix well.

  4. Place the tofu in the air-fryer at 200°C for approximately 15 minutes.

  5. In the meantime, chop the spring onions and grate the ginger.

  6. Wash and clean the green beans.

  7. Add some oil to the pan and fry the vegetables for approximately 10 minutes.

  8. Mix all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl.

  9. Pour the sauce into the pan.

  10. Allow it to thicken over a medium heat.

  11. Then add the tofu.

  12. Serve with rice and sesame seeds.
