Homemade Black Bean Burgers with Fresh Salad
Ingredients
Burger
- 2 cans black beans
- 3/4 cup oats
- 2 garlic cloves
- chili powder
- pinch of salt
- cumin powder
- paprika powder
- onion powder
Salad components
- red cabbage
- green lettuce
- red lettuce
- cucumbers
- hemp hearts
- broccoli
- avocado
Preparation
Blend all burger ingredients in a food processor until you get a combined dough-like texture.
Form 6 medium sized patties.
Place on baking sheet with a non-stick mat, then bake for 35 minutes at 400F.
Prepare the salad by chopping red cabbage, green or red lettuce, broccoli, and adding cucumbers, hemp hearts, and avocado.
Pour the dressing over the salad.
Serve the burger with the salad in every bite to combine flavors.
