Creamy Avocado Dip with Tofu and Lime
Ingredients
- 2 large avocados
- 1 package soft morinu tofu
- 2 cloves garlic
- Juice from 1 lime
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- Optional: 1-2 teaspoons mellow miso
Preparation
Put all ingredients into a blender or food processor and puree until smooth.
Serve immediately.
Can be refrigerated, but it's best fresh.
Optional: Puree with chopped cilantro for extra flavor.
Garlic roasting tips
If you don't like the bite of raw garlic, try roasting it.
Double the amount of garlic in the recipe.
Peel the cloves.
Wrap them in aluminum foil or use a garlic roaster.
Roast at 350 F for 20 minutes.
This can be done in advance and stored in the refrigerator or freezer.
