Spiced Bream Fish Stew
Ingredients
- 6 pieces bream fish
- 2 tablespoons corn oil
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander
- 1 lemon
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 4 medium tomatoes, peeled and chopped
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 3 cups water

Serving

Preparation
In a deep pot, heat the oil over medium heat, add the onion and stir until wilted, then add the garlic, cumin, coriander, and lemon, and stir until the garlic aroma appears.
Add the tomatoes and tomato paste, stir for a minute, then add the water and let it boil on high heat for 10 minutes to thicken.
Add the fish and cook for 30 minutes, avoiding overcooking to prevent it from falling apart.
Pour the fish salona into a serving dish, garnish with chopped coriander, add lemon juice, and serve with white rice.
