Crispy Chocolate Tortilla Ribbons for Smoothies
Ingredients
- 3 @sietefoods tortillas (cassava)
- 2 tbsp coconut oil
- 3-4 tbsp cacao powder
- 3-4 tbsp coconut sugar
Preparation
Preheat the oven to 350ºF.
Brush one side of the tortilla with coconut oil. Sprinkle with cacao powder and coconut sugar, rubbing to evenly coat.
Flip and repeat. Repeat with remaining tortillas.
Cut into thin strips.
Spread out on a pan lined with parchment paper with as much space in between them as possible.
Bake for 10 minutes at 350. Toss. Bake for another 8-10 minutes until they are starting to feel crispy.
Remove from the oven and cool. They will become crunchier as they cool.
Crumble on top of a smoothie bowl or ice cream, or eat as a crunchy snack.
