Simple Homemade Cashew Butter
Ingredients
- 1 cup raw cashews, toasted
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- 1/8 tsp sea salt
Optional additions
- 1/2 Tbsp maple syrup
Preparation
Toast the cashews in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes until golden brown
Allow the cashews to cool completely
Place the toasted cashews in a food processor and blend until they form a crumbly texture
Add the coconut oil and sea salt, then continue blending until smooth and creamy
If desired, add the maple syrup and blend again for a sweeter taste
