Simple Homemade Cashew Butter

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw cashews, toasted
  • 1 Tbsp coconut oil
  • 1/8 tsp sea salt

Optional additions

  • 1/2 Tbsp maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Toast the cashews in a preheated oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes until golden brown

  2. Allow the cashews to cool completely

  3. Place the toasted cashews in a food processor and blend until they form a crumbly texture

  4. Add the coconut oil and sea salt, then continue blending until smooth and creamy

  5. If desired, add the maple syrup and blend again for a sweeter taste
