Vegan Baked Cauliflower Wings with Sauce
Ingredients
Batter
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- white pepper to taste
Sauce
- 2.5 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
- 1 tsp vegan Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1-2 tbsp water
- hot sauce to taste
Preparation
Mix the batter ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Preheat the oven to 495°F.
Cut a small head of cauliflower into florets.
Coat the florets well with the batter mixture.
Lay them on a non-stick baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Remove from the oven, brush with oil, flip, and bake for another 5 minutes to achieve a roasted look.
Mix the sauce ingredients and set aside.
Heat a pan with 1 teaspoon avocado oil.
Pour the sauce slowly into the pan to avoid splashing.
Add the baked cauliflower florets and coat them until well combined.
Serve immediately.
