Crispy Baked Cauliflower Wings with Sauce
Ingredients
Crust
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp rice flour
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- white pepper, to taste
Sauce
- 2.5 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
- 1 tsp vegan Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- 1-2 tbsp water
- hot sauce, to taste (optional)
Preparation
Preheat oven to 495°F.
Mix the crust ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Cut a small head of cauliflower into florets and coat them well with the crust mixture.
Lay the coated florets on a non-stick baking sheet.
Bake for 10 minutes.
Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside.
Remove the baking sheet from the oven, brush the cauliflower with oil, flip the florets, and bake for another 5 minutes.
Heat 1 teaspoon avocado oil in a pan over medium heat.
Pour the sauce into the pan slowly to avoid splashing.
Add the baked cauliflower florets to the pan and coat them with the sauce until well combined.
Serve immediately.
