Easy Baked Cauliflower Wings with Sauce

Ingredients

Coating

  • 1/2 cup all purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp rice flour
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • white pepper, to taste

Sauce

  • 2.5 tbsp ketchup
  • 1 tbsp tamari or soy sauce
  • 1 tsp vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1-2 tbsp water
  • hot sauce, to taste

Preparation

  1. Mix the coating ingredients in a bowl and set aside

  2. Preheat oven to 495°F

  3. Cut a small head of cauliflower into florets and coat them well with the coating mixture

  4. Place the coated florets on a non-stick baking sheet

  5. Bake for 10 minutes, then remove from oven, brush with oil, flip, and bake for another 5 minutes to achieve a roasted look

  6. Mix the sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside

  7. Heat a pan with 1 tsp avocado oil over medium heat

  8. Slowly pour the sauce into the pan to prevent splashing

  9. Add the baked cauliflower florets to the pan and coat until well combined

  10. Serve immediately
