Caffeine Free and Vegan

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon ground turmeric spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger or nutmeg spice
  • pinch of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sweetener of choice
  • pinch of cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1 cup hot unsweetened non-dairy milk

Preparation

  1. In your favorite mug, mix spices together with black pepper

  2. Stir in hot water and sweetener together until spices dissolve

  3. Pour hot milk into the turmeric mixture and stir

  4. Sprinkle with a pinch of cinnamon

  5. Notes: for a foamy drink, you can froth hot milk with a hand or electric frother

  6. Soy milk works best for frothing
