Cinnamon and Date Sweetened Oats
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 medjool date, pitted
- Pinch of salt
Preparation
Add all ingredients to a sauce pan and bring to a simmer
Allow to cook and thicken for 5 minutes while stirring
You can break up the date into smaller pieces with your spoon or spatula while cooking
Remove from heat then serve
